School Safety

The school' s priority at all times is the safety of your child while they are in school. The school has a controlled secure entry system to monitor anyone coming into the school. There is a visitors book which must be signed by all visitors to the school. The playground is supervised by adults from 8.45 to 9.00 and during playtime and lunchtime. At home time there is always staff at the gates to ensure that all children leave the school safely, especially the younger children. If there is no one to collect a child at 3.00 they are kept safely within the school building until they are collected by a suitable adult. There is also a trained First Aider in the school who can administer medicine and take care of minor cuts and bruises. If your child should take unwell during the day or have a accident you will be contacted. We take any concerns you may have about your child's safety in school seriously and hope that if you have any issues that you come and speak to a member of Senior Management Team.
