House System
In Corpus Christi, as part of our positive behaviour and rewards system, ever child is a member of a "House". There are 14 Houses each one named after a town in Scotland. Each House has a House Teacher. Children receive "smiley tokens" for good behaviour, work and attitude. At the end of the week these are collected in and counted. The totals are then added to the overall total for each house. At the end of every term the winning house is given a treat, normally a day out, e.g. Amazonia, The Science Centre etc. Every house has a captain and or vice captain who are elected by their house members. There a re regular house meetings throughout the year. The focus for each meeting is agreed with teaching staff so that everyone has the same theme. In the past these have been based on personal and social develoment issues such as, Fairtrade, Eco, Health etc, in order to further enhance the qualities of effective contributers, confident individuals, independent learners and responsible citizens. Below is a list of the Houses and the House Captains and Vice Captains.
